(a) Procedure To Obtain The Requested license Is As Follow:
     1. Login With Valid Login Credentials to application
     2. Click on 'Apply For Amendment of Manufacturer license' link
     3. Fill In The Online Application Form
       3a. Upload your passport size photograph in JPG or PNG format.
       3b. Upload your hand signature in JPG or PNG format.(10kb-20kb)
     4. Upload The Required Documents
     5. Click On Payment Button To Make Payment
     6. Click On Preview Button To Verify & Confirm The Application Form
     7. Submit The Application
     8. Click On Preview To Get The Printout Of Submitted Application Form
     9. Concerned Inspecting Officer will visit the location for spot inspection
     10. Submit Self Attested Photocopies Of Uploaded Documents & Application Form to Inspecting Officer
     11. If Everything Is Correct, The Inspecting Officer Will Send The Application To Issuing Authority
     12. Once The Application Is Approved, The Electronic Copy Of license Can Be Downloaded In Respective Applicant Login

1)  Change  in  name -

1. Form LM-1  duly filled along with necessary changes required
2. Copy of valid license
3. Shop license of new name / letter from registrar of companies to that effect

2)  Change  in  address -

1. Form LM-1  duly filled along with necessary changes required
2. Copy of valid license
3. Ownership documents/ registered rent or leave license agreement or lease agreement NOC from the owner / NOC of the member if the premises is owned by family member.

3)  Change  in  constitution -

1. Form LM-1  duly filled along with necessary changes required
2. Copy of valid license
3. New partnership deed/certificate from registrar of companies regarding retirement or addition of director
4. Photograph of newly added  partners / directors

4)  Addition of new models / weight or measure -

1. Form LM-1  duly filled along with necessary changes required
2. Copy of valid license
3. Model Approval Certificate from  Director of Legal Metrology, New  Delhi 

 

(c) Payment mode for requested license is as follow: (Amount: Rs. 500/- Per Year)

1. Through GRAS

1. Visit the GRAS website (https://gras.mahakosh.gov.in/echallan/)
2. Login to website if you have registered or else click on Pay Without Registration tab
3. Enter the Department name (Controller Of Legal Metrology) in provided text box and click on Submit button
4. Fill up the form with necessary data and click on Submit button
5. Make the payment and save the Challan Number & Date for future reference

(b) Checklist

	B)    Licence under Shop and Establishment Act under new name/ Correspondence from Registrar of Companies to that effect
